Spring is beautiful at Araluen

04Oct10

Haven’t been to the Araluen Botanical Park for quite a number of years since they stopped their yearly tulip festival.  Although the tulips bloom period might have just past, as you can see from the following shots, there are still plenty of colors left for the late comers!

  1. Beautiful post!! What apertures were you shooting at?

    • Hi! Thanks for liking my post 🙂 Actually I couldn’t remember exactly what apertures I used but I remember I was carrying 85mm and probably shooting between f1.2 to f2.8 as these are my most used range. the 85mm is pretty hopeless for macro but that’s only lens I had at the time so I did a fair bit of cropping for the first few shots.

  2. 3 Imogen

well the depth of field is just stunning 🙂 Beautiful set.
