A hot Christmas

26Dec10

With max temperature forecast of 38c, we spent most of our Christmas day sitting at home doing pretty much bugger all in the comfort of air-conditioning and cold Canadian Club dry in our hands.  We did watch a movie called “buried” and it is about, well…”buried”.  The whole movie was filmed in a wooden box (coffin) with a truck driver, buried alive by terrorists in Iraq.  It’s not a bad movie but it is just not my cup of tea!  In the afternoon, after we visited Mal and Jenny for afternoon tea, we round off the day with sunset at Scarborough Beach.

Well I saw on TV there are (in somewhere in Australia) some high water there….. due to rain,… seems your weather is coming cold,…..

    • Yea, it’s funny, there is flooding and rain almost every part of Australia except Perth. Perth has had its driest winter ever and what is probably going to be the hottest summer on record coming too 😦
