Indian Ocean Drive

A stinking hot day, some sunburn, witnessed some tragic roadkill but I thoroughly enjoyed speeding through the new highway!

    Nice series,…

For me looks strange the road,.. everybody is driving on the wrong side,… lol (I know you drive like on OK)

Seems your wife has changed the small G11 for a good reflex,…

In the second image seems that access to the beach is forbiden,…. and there are some passenger ships on anchorage there,…. its nice like here where beach are public,….

What on hell are the stones in the first picture ??,… seems like cement from old pier,….

    • Thanks Arturo 🙂 I did drive on the wrong side of the road (accidentally) just last week and pissed off a few motorists lol!
She still loves her G11, she complains slr is too heavy.
Well, the beach is not really forbidden from public access, but it is littered with dried seaweeds which looks kinda dirty. However, they are still heaps of people on the beach at 40c heat just like they have never heard of skin cancer!
Those stone looking thingys are called “stromatolites”. The tiny lake is full of these odd looking formations apparently made by colonies of cyanobacteria and are dated back more than 2000 years ago. No spiders there 🙂
